FAQ For Yamaha Raptor

Troubleshooting

1. Only the sound box of my Raptor works. The raptor can not move (even after fully charge the battery for 18 hours).

2. My Raptor didn’t work at all, not even the sound box.

3. When I checked my battery, it only shows 8 or 9 volts on my voltage meter.

4. My Raptor has only one rear wheel turns, and the other rear wheel doesn’t turn.

5. There is grinding noise from my Raptor gearbox, and it has only one wheel turning.

6. My Raptor can only go in one direction, either reverse or forward regardless the forward/reverse switch position.

7. My Raptor can only go in one speed (high or low) regardless the switch position.

8. There is an electrical burn smell or smoke coming from underneath the seat, and I can even see a spark fire on the gear motor on the rear wheels.

9. Back wheels spin very slow but it never actually takes off. You can hear the engine run, but it just doesn’t want to go (even though the battery has been charged for 18 hours).

10. When you press on the gas pedal, it will go for a couple of seconds and then stops.  If you switch the high/low button or the forward/reverse button it will not go at all.

11. When you push the gas pedal down, sometimes it works and other times it does not, or sometimes it gets stuck.

12. What is the general guideline for using my rechargeable battery?
